Battle Master Rokash
The title of Battle Master has long been one that comes with great amounts of respect and honor attached to it. The current generation of Jedi looks towards a most unlikely figure to teach them not only the secrets to battle but the way to center oneself amid the maelstrom of war. Jedi Master Rokash, a Togorian, has taken the task of leading this new generation into peace and safety. The Togorains tend to be a violent, primitive race, concerned on;y with killing and improving their own strength. Rokash is the exception. Powerful yet modest, serene, calm and centered, Rokash seems to be the embodiment of what his race is not. Picked up by Luke Skywalker while raiding a slave encampment on the lush world of Dantooine, Rokash showed a surprising amount of aptitude in the force. Over the years, Rokash trained and meditated. He was determined to be what his species was not. He learnt to accept his instincts and his rage and to harness it, allowing him to be at peace with himself even in the middle of battle. Eventually, his combat prowess was recognized by the Council and the current Battle Master. On the death of his Predecessor, Rokash was immediately named the new Jedi Battle Master.
